Dear Mighty Warriors of the Kingdom,

I am taking this time to thank you for all the precious hours of prayers you devoted for us during our recent trip to Gensan and Davao City last April 2008. There was an open heaven and flow of revelation as we ministered. It’s because of the prayer covering you have extended to us. I believe we all rejoice together for the mighty works that the Lord did during the events. Know that we greatly value all of your labor of love for us and for the cause of the Kingdom. Your rewards are great.

Let me just highlight some of the testimonies of the said events.

In Gensan

- Many of those who attended the retreat we had last October 2007 attended the Youth Holy Ghost Rally this time. Pastor Philip, one of the pastors who had had a deep encounter with God and impartation last October testified that since then his whole church caught the fire. They now have soaking every Friday night- which starts from 6pm to 7am the following day. He also testified that they now have planted 2 new churches since then. To add to these, he testified that they now have an underground movement among the Muslims in their area. Hallelujah!

-One of the businessmen who attended the Youth Rally last October listened to the cd’s we sold last year. He testified that since then he has been impacted tremendously by the preachings and lessons he listened to. One day he asked the team to pray and dedicate his new Mitsubishi pick-up and testified that it was a product of the favor of God, which he began to understand as he listened to the series of preaching on the Force of Favor.

-One family- a mother and three of her teenage children attended the recent Holy Ghost Rally. They absorbed the revelations like sponge especially concerning the importance and the blessings of soaking in the Presence of God. The day after the Youth Rally, the family ’soaked’ in prayer early morning at 4 o’clock and at 7 am prayed for their neighbor who was bedridden because of sickness. The person received instant healing!

 

Later that day a neighbor asked if she could borrow some money to bring her daughter to the doctor. Ate Helen told her neighbor that she does not have the money but she knows the solution.
Again, the whole family ’soaked’ in the Presence of God and prayed for the baby who was instantly healed too. Because of these testimonies, six families came to know the Lord and asked if they can join the church. Hallelujah! God is so good.

In Davao
-The first night was so powerful. Almost 400 were present and they were so hungry for the Presence of God. I testified about the things the Lord has been doing in our midst since the impartation we received in May 2006. After the meeting, people lined-up for prayer of
impartation and healing. God moved powerfully as the Holy Spirit touched the people.

-The next day was for the leaders. Many came and again God showed up setting hearts on fire. At one point, about 300 leaders just soaked in the Presence of God and the Holy Spirit touching them without us praying for them. It was an awesome sight to see. I have never seen such hunger displayed by leaders and pastors to receive impartation and ask for more of God.

-The last night I shared on the reality of Open Heavens. The Presence of God was so thick all over the place. I could hardly walk towards the stage. I can sense a strong angelic presence all over the gymnasium. At this time, there were about 600 people in the place. I asked the people to pray for those who are sick. Afterwards, hundreds raised their hands to signify of their healing! Hallelujah!

 

-After the meeting, I was asked to pray for people with severe sicknesses. Many were healed but the highlight of that moment was the healing of two deaf and mute both afflicted by the disease since birth. One is around 40 years of age and the other one is a girl around 8 yrs old. God healed them both! He is so good!

-The greater blessing for me is the establishment of connection between me and Pastor Noel Alkuino who I believe is one of the apostolic leaders of Mindanao. I believe that God is doing something in Mindanao that would later be a blessing to the nation in terms of revival fire and fresh move of God. Something happened in my spirit as I ministered in Mindanao and I do treasure every moment that the team and I stood to minister and pour out what we receive from the Lord to the hungry ones. I see fire in Mindanao!

The testimonies I mentioned are just few of the numerous blessings we experienced during that trip. Again, in my heart I thank you for being there to watch our backs and make sure we are fully covered as we ministered.

At this point, let me share to you some insights to the importance of prayer in all that we are experiencing this season as a movement. The momentum and the depths of the revival we are in depend largely on our unity in prayer. Prayer is the agreement of earth with heaven. This is our God-given means to shape our history, to create the atmosphere for a massive revival to happen and to prepare a realm of supernatural that will permeate not just the believers (our church for that matter) but more so the nonbelievers. I believe in prayers that go beyond prayer assignments or prayer slots. I believe in the kinds of prayer that move us- this is the kind of prayer that will in turn move heaven. I pray that we all be moved from just praying based on the assigned lists to praying because we are enabled and guided by the Spirit of God. Not just praying to God but praying with God by the Holy Spirit. This is praying from the heavenly realm- the third heaven. This is how we birth things from heaven to earth. May God the Holy Spirit bring us to this realm more and more to be able to see what the Father is doing and be able to declare what we have heard and seen in the spirit.

I have been reminded by what Leif told me at the start of this year concerning the works of God in our midst; he said, “To move faster, you have to stay lower”. This is a season of great acceleration and this is the season to stay in the place of humility and total ‘yieldedness’ to God. The need to be sensitive to the voice of the Spirit is so important if we are to see powerful prayers- or effective prayers to take effect. This is also a time for prayers that endure- prayers that will never let go until the answer comes. What we hear from Him in the secret place we must be able to contend until we see the breakthrough. Let us pursue what lies ahead. We live in the most exciting times. The world is about to see and they will marvel at the authority that we believers are walking in and the power of prayer on our lips. God is ever looking for vessels who, in the place of intimacy and persistence, have learned how to steward the riches of heaven to be released to this wounded world through declarations and demonstrations of His mighty deeds.

Intercessors and prayer warriors, you are at the forefront of this movement. That hunger and desperation you carry within your spirit, which burns within your hearts, are the very fuel of this revival fire that we right now are experiencing in an increasing measure. Let us keep the fire burning in this house- the Destiny family. We honor you so deeply in our hearts. You are heroes and mighty warriors!
