India Trip 2009 Highlights
Last March 31 to April 10, 2009, Ptrs. Paul and Ahl Yadao, Nick Sosmeña, Dr. Grace Barroga, Verge Ascabano and Donna Belle Andrade, went to India and joined Hossanna Lutheran’s team led by Ptr. Tim Hatt, to do crusades and leadership trainings. They went to four cities: Jalna, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, and Pune.
Obstacles and Glory at Jalna
Unexpected obstacles at Jalna graced the whole exciting India experience for the whole team. During the first day, the authorities at Jalna issued that they wouldn’t allow foreigners to the speak at the crusade, not even go to the place, fearing for any terrorist attack that might occur. The team was ordered to leave Jalna at once. But through prayer and persistence, they stayed and instead empowered the Indian ministers and pastors to do the crusade.
As a result thousands were reached for Christ and many miracles happened through the hands of the Indian ministers. From around 2,500 during the first night, the audience grew to 12,000 at the last day of the campaign. There were many testimonies of healing miracles, deaf people able to hear and demon possessed persons delivered. On the 3rd night less than a hundred blind people were reported to have been healed instantly.
Leaders conferences were also held separately during the campaign. One is the Pastors conference where Tim Hatt and Paul Yadao were speakers and the women’s conference where Ahl Yadao and Swati spoke as well.
Ministering at Aurangabad, Ahmednagar and Pune
After Jalna, the delegates went to Aurangabad where they divided into small teams and minitered to village churches. Then they went to Ahmednagar (where last years’ campaign was conducted) where there was a youth rally. They also ministered to orphanages and churches there. After Ahmednagar, they went to Pune and ministered again to churches. They were also introduced to micro-finance programs implemented at the area.
The Kingdom Family Experience
Ptr. Paul expressed that “This recent trip to India has been the high watermark to Destiny Family in the spirit with regards to the Kingdom of God demonstrated and released to the nations. The revelations of the New Wineskin (the Family), spiritual inheritance, Elijah-Elisha model and the increase in the measures of the anointing from generation to another were demonstrated and experienced in flesh and blood in this trip.” More to Kingdom conquest.
