DMI Conducts Leaders’ Summit
By Kaila Factolerin“When fathers and sons walk together in the presence of God, new ways will be opened for the next generation.” This is the core of Pastor Paul Yadao’s message during the Leaders’ Summit held on November 7, 2009 at the Continuing Education Center Hall, Los Baños Laguna.
Leaders from the different house churches (Los Baños, Calamba City, Lucena City, Alabang, Biñan, and Makati City) as well as from international house churches (Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore) attended the summit.
The morning session was lead by Pastora Ahl Yadao as she enumerated testimonies of the goodness and favor of the Lord for their trip to the US in September and October. She also called Ptrs. Ariel and Janneth Tenorio to testify about their trip to Gen. Santos City that paved the way for Destiny GenSan and Donna Andrade for her trip to the US. Pastor Paul reinforced that testimonies serve as our inheritance and by testifying, we are declaring that God will do it again.
During the afternoon session, Pastor Paul talked about the importance of father and son walking together – fathers in full sensitivity to the voice of God and sons in full obedience and loyalty to their fathers. Pastor Paul told the stories of Abraham and Isaac (Genesis 22: 1-18), Moses and Joshua (Exodus 21: 1-18), and Aaron and Eleazar (Numbers 20: 22-28) to reveal fully the heart of the Heavenly Father.
He also emphasized the importance of going through the process. “From promise to practice is process,” declared Pastor Paul, as he stated that process is an inevitable thing that one must pass through in order to learn the ways of God. “For in the highlights of our life – when we see signs, wonders and miracles – we see His acts, but in our lowest points we see His mercy, His grace and His love.”
The message was indeed powerful as fresh revelations opened the spiritual eyes of the leaders. God is indeed faithful as His manifest presence was felt all over the place when both Ptrs. Paul & Ahl laid hands on the leaders and released the anointing.
