Healing Crusade: A Night to Remember
By Jennielyn CarpioThe night of December 7, 2009 was not just an ordinary night. It was a gathering of expectant people. People who are hoping to see and experience more of God. Little did these people know, God has prepared so much more for them. More than what they have expected. And that very night indeed changed their lives forever.
Speakers Leif Hetland and Jim Rogers started sharing about God’s utmost desire to touch His people and free them from all oppressions and that God is indeed a God who heals. They also shared testimonies about the crusades in Pakistan and Tanzania where miracles after miracles happen. Pastor Gary D. Matias, Chairman of the Los Baños Alliance for Revival, Reformation and Missions (LBARRM) served as the speakers’ translator for the event.
Jim Rogers started calling out people to go near the stage so that they can be prayed for. Members of the Global Missions Awareness (GMA) team started laying hands and praying for them. People began sharing testimonies after testimonies. Miracles after miracles happen.
Testimonies
Eva Ignacio, a 30 year old mother testified that she had goiter since 2003. She consulted a doctor from the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) in Manila. She was advised to take medications but she was financially unable. During that time, she was pregnant and delivered her baby prematurely (6.5mos) due to complications. She had faith that God will heal her. One of the members of the GMA team laid hands and prayed for her. She felt the presence of the Lord and testified, “The goiter was gone! I can’t feel it anymore!” Praise God! There were three others who were healed from goiter.
Irene Mie 3 years old, suffered from tooth ache and nose bleeding. After the prayer, she got healed.
Jonalyn Calingasyon, 11 years old. Jonalyn has a speech problem. She stammers. She also complained that her arm was in pain. After the prayer for, she started speaking smoothly without stammering
Jessabelle Abrecia, 12 years old had asthma since birth was healed.
Marlyn Garcia, 14 years old. She is mute and with Down syndrome. After the prayer, she can speak a little.
Jed Bermudez, 22 years old was healed from Bipolar Disorder and Manic Depression.
Masipag Locaba, 23 years old. This person suffered from kidney stones for 5 years and after being prayed for, got healed. On the other hand, Eddie de Dios, 41 years old had kidney stone for 12 years. He also got healed.
Venn Vuley, 29 years old from Cambodia. Got his right arm fractured from playing soccer. He was able to move his right arm after prayer.
Lucy Deague, 41 years old was diagnosed to have a lump in her breast. She went through surgery but the lump recurred last September. She was healed after she was prayed for.
Julia Maglente. 56 years old suffered from having a thyroid cyst. She got healed by God that night.
Milagros Garcia. 60 years old has a lump inside her abdomen and intestine. After the prayer, the lump got smaller and softer.
What an awesome God! The list of more testimonies and healings goes on. These people who received their healings attest one thing, “I felt the presence of God!” Many people got healed from blindness, cataract and blurred vision, also from leg pains, migraine, throat problems and asthma. No amount of human knowledge or scientific explanation can elucidate these events. Indeed it’s God and no else. Hallelujah!
